Ripe Tomatoes Yikes!

After weeks of providing us with a daily ration ripening tomatoes, the mass of green tomatoes has decided to ripen all at once. Yikes! I need to get busy.

Freeze

And freeze it did, right on schedule, just days before the average first freeze here! Let it freeze; we are ready! We have now removed the fall plants, turned the rows and added soil amendments. We will plant more winter vegetables and transplant little lettuces and onions which are already needing more space.
