Signs of Spring

Mild temperatures, sprinkles, and lots of sunshine have brought out the first flowers of spring; a daffodil, violets, redbud, and plum. We were lucky enough to receive one-half inch rain, but a gardener from the other side of town said, "What I poured out of the gauge wasn't enough to wet a cat's tongue." He will be seeing first flowers soon.
